Fire Door inspection

Properly installed and maintained Fire doors are a critical element in protecting people and property in the event of fire, they inhibit the spread of smoke and flame and allow personnel the time to evacuate safely.

If a fire door is not fully functional or is damaged or incorrectly fitting, this can reduce its capability and could impair the protection offered.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, indicates that is the responsibility of the business to ensure any safety measures provided are inspected and maintained to ensure they operate efficiently.

The recommendations indicate Fire Doors should be inspected every 6 months, we have qualified inspectors who can complete full Fire Door inspections and surveys to ensure these critical protective measures operate to their full potential.
